well the first night out that i took with my college friends was on 31st Jan 2009 for the IIM-B fest.
KK ( Singer) had come there for live performance and all of us were very excited bout it. IIM-B is known for it's big budget fest. last time Strings had come for the live performance.
well we all got ready and left our college and travelled some 45 kms distance in the local bus just to watch the show. the queue was long when we reached and people were pushing each other to enter inside the ground where the live performance was taking place. being a girl is an advantage at times you know because then you get an extra preference in the crowd and during the entry too saying "Girls First".
The crowd was huge and we somehow managed pushing the crowd and making way for ourselves in the 4th-5th row.. but because of my short height i couldn't see anything. and my friends were trying hard to make way for ourselves to the front row.. but then the crowd was so generous that it itself pushed us to the second row ehhhee.... :) .... still it was a problem for me to see KK but it was better then what it was earlier... we danced and sang on the songs that he sang..what a display of energy man....
the show got over in some two hours and then we had whole night left with us. we then went to the college ground...sat there and played dumb sharads...oh my god it was so much of fun... and then after that searched for food...
DJ war started at 2.30 am at night..initially it was boring and we didn't join the crowd...but later it played good songs and all of us joined in..we danced danced and danced...and then at 4am in the morning when the DJ war got over we sat down all exhausted...then a sip of tea in chilled 18 degree climate helped us.... we waited till 5.30am in the morning till the buses start moving so that we could move back to our college campus..i came with one of my friends on his bike and was chilled to bones...imagine how we reached back to campus in half an hour and i rushed back to my room.....
all over it was a happy happy night out with friends.... :)
